La "S" representa "speed" (velocidad). La construcción de las mangas utiliza ingeniería CFD para una colocación óptima de las costuras. El tejido acanalado de los hombros ha sido diseñado específicamente para ofrecer la mayor ventaja aerodinámica a velocidades de carrera, con una reducción del CdA de hasta un 6 % en comparación con versiones anteriores. El resto del maillot está pensado para brindar la máxima comodidad. El tejido del cuerpo es suave y elástico, lo que permite un ajuste perfecto y una sensación agradable sobre la piel. El elástico en la cintura mantiene el maillot en su sitio y sostiene los tres bolsillos traseros cuando están cargados.
